Ingredients

  • 1 piece pre-made pie crust
  • 200 grams salmon fillet (skinless)
  • 100 grams sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 4 pieces eggs
  • 240 milliliters heavy cream
  • 120 milliliters milk
  • 3 stalks green onions (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons dill (fresh, chopped)
  • 0.5 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Step 2

Place the pre-made pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish, pressing it into the edges and trimming any excess. Set aside.

Step 3

Season the salmon fillet with a pinch of salt and pepper, then bake it in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until fully cooked. Once cooked, let it cool slightly and flake it into small pieces using a fork.

Step 4

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, and milk until well combined. Stir in the garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

Step 5

Spread the flaked salmon evenly over the bottom of the pie crust. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top, followed by the chopped green onions and dill.

Step 6

Pour the egg and cream mixture over the fillings, ensuring it is evenly distributed.

Step 7

Place the quiche on the middle rack of the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.

Step 8

Remove the quiche from the oven and let it cool for 10-15 minutes before slicing.

Step 9

Serve warm or at room temperature, garnished with additional fresh dill if desired. Enjoy!
