Ingredients

  • 3 cups Broccoli florets
  • 2 cups Corn kernels (fresh, canned, or frozen)

  • 0.5 cup Panko breadcrumbs

  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil (for greasing the baking dish)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with olive oil.

Step 2

Blanch the broccoli florets by boiling them in lightly salted water for 2-3 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring continuously, to create a roux.
