Ingredients

  • 3 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2.25 teaspoons Instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 cup Warm water
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1.5 cups Shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 0.5 teaspoons Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons Dried parsley (optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, instant yeast, salt, and sugar.

Add the warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough begins to form.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Punch down the risen dough and roll it out into a rectangle approximately 12x9 inches.
