  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 cup crushed peppermint candies
  • 0.25 teaspoons salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1

Line an 8x8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal. Lightly grease the parchment paper with non-stick spray or a small dab of butter.

Step 2

In a medium saucepan, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and unsalted butter over low heat. Stir continuously with a heat-resistant spatula until the mixture is melted and smooth, about 5 minutes.

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the peppermint extract, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well to ensure all the flavors are evenly incorporated.
