  • 250 g Chanterelle mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp Fresh thyme leaves
  • 150 ml Heavy cream
  • 100 g Goat cheese, crumbled
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 pack Store-bought puff pastry sheets
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp All-purpose flour (for dusting)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Clean the chanterelle mushrooms by gently brushing off any dirt. Avoid washing them with water to preserve their flavor.

Step 3

In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the chanterelle mushrooms to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and tender. Stir in the thyme leaves and season with salt and black pepper. Remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly.
