Ingredients

  • 6 oz Champagne or sparkling wine
  • 2 oz Orange juice
  • 0.5 oz Grenadine syrup
  • 1 piece Orange slice
  • 1 piece Maraschino cherry

Directions

Step 1

Chill a champagne flute glass in the refrigerator for 10 minutes or until cold.

Step 2

Carefully pour 6 oz of champagne or sparkling wine into the chilled champagne flute.

Step 3

Slowly add 2 oz of orange juice to the champagne, pouring it gently to avoid mixing too much and to allow the liquid to layer slightly.

Step 4

Using a bar spoon or the back of a regular spoon, drizzle 0.5 oz of grenadine syrup down the inside edge of the flute. The grenadine will sink to the bottom, creating a gradient effect that resembles a sunrise.

Step 5
