Ingredients

  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 bag Chamomile tea (loose or 1 tea bag)
  • 1 bag Green tea (loose or 1 tea bag)
  • 2 teaspoons Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice (optional)
  • 1 sprig Fresh chamomile flowers (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Bring 2 cups of water to a gentle boil in a small saucepan or kettle.

Step 2

Reduce the heat and let the water cool for 1-2 minutes to prevent the green tea from becoming bitter.

Step 3

Place the chamomile tea bag and the green tea bag in a teapot or directly into two mugs.

Step 4

Pour the slightly cooled water over the tea bags and let them steep for 3-5 minutes. Adjust steeping time based on your desired strength.

Step 5

Remove the tea bags and discard them.

Step 6

Stir in 2 teaspoons of honey and 1 teaspoon of optional lemon juice, dividing evenly between the servings.

Step 7

Pour the tea into mugs if it was brewed in a teapot.
