Ingredients

  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 cups Unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)

  • 0.5 teaspoons Ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoons Ground cardamom
  • 2 tablespoons Chia seeds
  • 0.125 teaspoons Pinch of salt
  • 0 Whipped cream or coconut cream (optional, for garnish)
  • 0 Ground nutmeg or cinnamon (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the small tapioca pearls under cold water in a fine mesh strainer until the water runs clear.

In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.

Add the rinsed tapioca pearls to the boiling water, reduce the heat to medium-low, and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent clumping.
