Ingredients

  • 250 ml plain yogurt
  • 500 ml cold water
  • 1 teaspoon, grated ginger
  • 1 small, finely chopped green chili
  • 1 teaspoon, roasted and ground cumin seeds
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons, chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 10 leaves, optional mint leaves

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, add 250 ml of plain yogurt.

Step 2

Whisk the yogurt until smooth and creamy.

Step 3

Gradually add 500 ml of cold water while continuing to whisk the yogurt mixture. Ensure the yogurt and water are fully blended to form a smooth buttermilk consistency.

Step 4

Add 1 teaspoon of grated ginger, 1 small finely chopped green chili, 1 teaspoon of roasted and ground cumin seeds, and 0.5 teaspoon of salt into the yogurt mixture. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
