  • 1 large Egg

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Stir gently and let sit for 5–10 minutes until the mixture becomes foamy.

Add the melted butter, egg, salt, and 2 cups of flour to the yeast mixture. Mix until a sticky dough begins to form.

Gradually add the remaining 1 cup of flour, 1/4 cup at a time, until the dough comes together but is still slightly sticky. Avoid adding too much flour to keep the bread soft.
