Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoons Baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cups Unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cups Brown sugar, packed
  • 0.5 cups Granulated sugar
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups Roasted cashews, chopped
  • 0.5 cups Optional: white chocolate chips

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.

Step 2

In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes using a handheld or stand mixer.

Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until fully combined.
