  • 50 g raisins (optional)
  • 50 g chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • 115 g cream cheese
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2–3 minutes.
