Ingredients

  • 3 medium Carrots
  • 2 cloves Garlic cloves
  • 1 small Onion
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 4 Burger buns
  • 4 Lettuce leaves
  • 4 Tomato slices
  • 4 tablespoons Your choice of burger sauce

Directions

Step 1

Peel and grate the carrots using a box grater or food processor. Set aside.

Step 2

Finely mince the garlic cloves and onion.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated carrots, minced garlic, onion, egg, breadcrumbs, parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until the mixture holds together when pressed.

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a burger patty about 1/2 inch thick.
