Ingredients

  • 4 medium Carrots
  • 2 small Beets
  • 0.5 Lemon
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Honey (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Wash the carrots, beets, and ginger thoroughly under running water to remove dirt and debris.

Step 2

Peel the beets and ginger using a vegetable peeler. The carrots can be peeled if desired, but it is optional.

Step 3

Cut the carrots and beets into smaller chunks that can fit easily into your juicer or blender.

Step 4

Juicing method: Feed the carrot, beet, and ginger pieces through your juicer, one ingredient at a time. Once juiced, pour the mixture into a glass.

Step 5

Blender method: Place the carrot, beet, and ginger pieces into a blender. Add the water and blend until smooth.

Step 6

If using a blender, strain the mixture using a fine mesh strainer, nut milk bag, or cheesecloth to remove the pulp. Press to extract as much juice as possible.

Step 7

Juice the half lemon by squeezing it over the juice mixture. Stir to combine.
