Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Round Italian bread
  • 1 cup Green olives, pitted and chopped
  • 1 cup Kalamata olives, pitted and chopped
  • 1 cup Pickled vegetables (giardiniera), chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Capers, drained
  • 1 Garlic clove, minced
  • 0.25 cup Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 6 ounces Sliced Genoa salami
  • 6 ounces Sliced mortadella
  • 6 ounces Sliced ham
  • 6 ounces Sliced provolone cheese
  • 6 ounces Sliced mozzarella cheese

Directions

Step 1

Slice the round Italian bread horizontally to create a top and bottom half.

Step 2

Scoop out some of the interior crumb from both halves to create space for the fillings.

In a medium bowl, combine the green olives, Kalamata olives, pickled vegetables, capers, minced garlic, olive oil, red wine vinegar, and oregano. Stir well to combine and let the olive salad marinate for at least 10 minutes.
