  • 0.5 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 sheets Parchment paper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Peel and thinly slice the yellow onions into half-moons.

Step 3

Core and thinly slice the apple (no need to peel unless desired).

Step 4

In a skillet over medium heat, add the butter and olive oil. Once the butter has melted, add the sliced onions and a pinch of salt.

Cook the onions for 8-10 minutes, stirring frequently, until they start to soften and turn golden brown.

Add the apple slices to the skillet with the onions and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the apples begin to soften slightly.
