Ingredients

  • 1 store-bought or homemade ball Pizza dough
  • 2 large Yellow onions
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 0.25 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Sugar
  • 1.5 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cups Shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 cups Cream cheese
  • 0.5 teaspoons Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoons Fresh thyme leaves (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Cornmeal

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up as well.

Slice the onions thinly into rings.

Step 3

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions, salt, and sugar. Stir occasionally and cook for 20-25 minutes, or until the onions are deep golden brown and caramelized. Set aside to cool slightly.

Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness. If you're using a pizza stone, transfer the dough to a piece of parchment paper or a pizza peel dusted with cornmeal.
