Directions

Step 1

Rinse the rice under cold running water until the water runs clear. This removes excess starch and helps achieve the desired pudding texture.

In a medium saucepan, combine the rinsed rice and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the water is absorbed.
