Directions

Step 1

Prepare a 9x13-inch baking pan by greasing it with butter or lining it with parchment paper. Set aside.

In a large saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.

Add the brown sugar, light corn syrup, and sweetened condensed milk to the saucepan. Stir to combine.

Continue cooking the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it begins to bubble. Reduce the heat slightly and cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring frequently, until the caramel thickens and achieves a rich, golden color.
