Ingredients

  • 1 piece pre-made pie crust
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella
  • 1.5 cups cherry tomatoes
  • 12 medium fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Place the pre-made pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and crimp the edges as desired. Use a fork to prick the bottom of the crust lightly to prevent bubbling.

Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then remove it from the oven and set it aside to cool slightly.
