  • 0.5 cups Unsalted butter, softened
  • 0.5 cups Whole milk
  • 0.5 cups Strong brewed espresso, cooled
  • 2 whole Large eggs
  • 1 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups Powdered sugar
  • 4 ounces Cream cheese, softened
  • 0.25 cups Unsalted butter, softened (for frosting)
  • 2 tablespoons Strong brewed espresso (for frosting), cooled

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

Step 2

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
