Ingredients

  • 16 oz Ziti pasta
  • 1 lb Chicken breast
  • 3 cups Broccoli florets

  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp Crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

While the pasta is cooking, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice into thin strips.
