Ingredients

  • 2 cans (5 oz each) Canned tuna
  • 1 cup (crushed) Pringles (any flavor of choice)
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Oil (for frying)

Directions

Step 1

Drain the canned tuna thoroughly and place it in a mixing bowl.

Step 2

Crush the Pringles into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.

Step 3

Add the crushed Pringles, egg, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, and black pepper to the mixing bowl with the tuna.

Step 4

Mix the ingredients thoroughly until the mixture holds together. If it feels too wet, add a little more crushed Pringles to adjust the consistency.

Step 5

Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about 1/2 inch thick.

Step 6

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of oil.

Step 7

Once the oil is hot, place the patties in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.

Step 8

Remove the patties from the skillet and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Step 9

Serve warm as a snack, appetizer, or sandwich filling. Optionally, garnish with a squeeze of lemon or a dollop of tartar sauce.
