Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Ground beef (80% lean)
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.75 cup Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Apple cider vinegar

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a loaf pan.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently with your hands or a spoon until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the meatloaf dense.

Step 3

Transfer the meat mixture to the prepared baking sheet or loaf pan. Shape it into a loaf, about 8 inches long and 4 inches wide if using a baking sheet.

Step 4

In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar to make the glaze.

Step 5

Spread half of the glaze evenly over the top and sides of the meatloaf using a spoon or spatula.

Step 6

Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes. After 45 minutes, remove it from the oven and spread the remaining glaze over the top.

Step 7

Return the meatloaf to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) as measured with a meat thermometer.

Step 8

Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing. This helps the juices redistribute, ensuring a moist and flavorful meatloaf.

Step 9

Slice and serve warm alongside your favorite side dishes, such as mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables. Enjoy!
