Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef steak (e.g., sirloin or flank)
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup Campbell's Beef Broth
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp ginger (minced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 3 green onions (sliced)
  • 1 red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 4 cups cooked white or brown rice

Directions

Step 1

Thinly slice the beef steak into bite-sized strips. Pat dry with a paper towel, then toss the slices in a bowl with cornstarch, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

Step 2

In a small bowl, combine orange juice, Campbell's Beef Broth, soy sauce, honey, orange zest, garlic, and ginger. Whisk the sauce ingredients together and set aside.

Step 3

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef in a single layer and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned but not fully cooked. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

Step 4

Add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil to the skillet. Toss in the red bell pepper slices and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.

Step 5

Return the beef to the skillet and pour in the prepared orange sauce. Stir everything together, ensuring the beef and vegetables are evenly coated.

Step 6

Bring the skillet to a simmer and let cook for 3-5 minutes, or until the sauce has slightly thickened and the beef is fully cooked.

Step 7

Turn off the heat and garnish the dish with sliced green onions.

Step 8

Serve the orange beef hot over a bed of cooked white or brown rice.
