Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) Campbell’s Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1.5 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup water
  • 0.5 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is browned and fully cooked, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Drain any excess grease.

Step 2

Reduce the heat to medium. Stir in the Campbell's Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup, milk, mixed vegetables, uncooked elbow macaroni, water, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.

Step 3

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover the skillet and let it simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the macaroni is tender and the mixture is heated through.

Step 4

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top. Cover again and let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

Step 5

Remove from heat and let the skillet rest for a couple of minutes before serving. Enjoy your comforting country-style meal!
