Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (10.75 ounces) Campbell's Condensed Tomato Soup
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 8 ounces uncooked pasta (elbow or penne)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Use a wooden spoon to break up the beef into crumbles as it cooks.

Step 2

Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 2-3 minutes, or until the onion softens and becomes translucent.

Step 3

Drain any excess grease from the skillet and return it to the stove.

Step 4

Stir in the Campbell's Condensed Tomato Soup, water, uncooked pasta, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

Step 5

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover the skillet with a lid.

Step 6

Simmer for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking, until the pasta is tender and has absorbed most of the liquid.

Step 7

Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.

Step 8

Cover the skillet again for 2-3 minutes to allow the cheese to melt.

Step 9

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired, and serve warm.
