Ingredients

  • 1 piece Camembert cheese (whole wheel)
  • 50 grams Walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 sprig Fresh rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon Olive oil
  • 1 optional Bag of baguette slices, crackers, or fresh bread

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

Step 2

Take the Camembert cheese and remove any plastic or paper wrapping, leaving the wooden box intact. Place the cheese back inside its wooden case (or in an oven-safe dish if no wooden box is provided).

Step 3

Using a sharp knife, score the top rind of the Camembert in a crisscross pattern. Be careful not to cut through to the bottom rind.

Step 4

Drizzle 1 teaspoon of olive oil over the top of the cheese and place small rosemary sprigs into the cuts.

Step 5

Chop the walnuts roughly into smaller pieces and sprinkle them evenly over the cheese.

Step 6

Drizzle 2 tablespoons of honey over the walnuts and the top of the Camembert.

Step 7

Place the Camembert on a small baking tray and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and gooey inside.

Step 8

Carefully remove from the oven and serve immediately with sliced baguette, crackers, or fresh bread, for dipping.
