Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground turkey
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 Egg
  • 0.25 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 Red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 Green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 Yellow onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 Hamburger buns
  • 0 Optional toppings (lettuce, tomato, pickles, etc.)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, chopped parsley, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined.

Step 2

Divide the turkey mixture into 4 equal portions and form each portion into a patty about 3/4-inch thick.

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place the patties in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on one side until browned. Flip the patties and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Remove the cooked patties from the skillet and set them aside.
