  • 0.25 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 slices cooked crispy bacon (crumbled, optional)

Directions

Step 1

Place the eggs in a single layer in a medium saucepan and cover them with cold water, ensuring the water is about 1 inch above the eggs.

Bring the water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, cover the saucepan, remove it from the heat, and let the eggs sit for 10 minutes.
