  • 4 pounds pork shoulder (or pork butt)
  • 12 ounces Coca-Cola (not diet)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 10 ounces red enchilada sauce

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Cut the pork shoulder into large chunks (if necessary) and place it into a slow cooker.

Pour 6 ounces (half a can) of Coca-Cola over the pork and add 1/2 cup of brown sugar. Mix gently to coat the meat.
