Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 0.5 cups (grated) Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves (minced) garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons (chopped) fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons black pepper
  • 4 pieces burger buns
  • 4 leaves Romaine lettuce
  • 0.5 cups Caesar dressing
  • 0.25 cups (grated) extra Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently with your hands until combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

Step 2

Divide the meat mixture into four equal portions and shape them into burger patties about 3/4-inch thick. Use your thumb to make a slight indent in the center of each patty to help them cook evenly.

Step 3

Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat. Lightly brush the grill grates or skillet with olive oil to prevent sticking.

Step 4

Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. For medium, cook to an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).

Step 5

While the burgers are cooking, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

Step 6

Assemble the burgers: Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Top with the cooked burger patty, a generous drizzle of Caesar dressing, and a sprinkle of extra grated Parmesan cheese. Finish with the top half of the bun.

Step 7

Serve immediately with your favorite sides, such as fries or a crisp side salad.
