Ingredients

  • 4 cups Cabbage
  • 2 medium Zucchini
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 0.5 teaspoons Red chili flakes
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 2 stalks Green onions
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice

Directions

Step 1

Prepare your ingredients: thinly slice the cabbage, cut the zucchini into half-moon slices, finely mince the garlic, and chop the green onions.

Step 2

Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.

Step 3

Once the oil is hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Step 4

Add the sliced zucchini to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until it starts to soften but remains slightly firm.

Step 5

Add the sliced cabbage to the skillet. Stir everything together and continue to sauté for 3-4 minutes until the cabbage begins to wilt but still retains some crunch.

Step 6

Drizzle the soy sauce and sesame oil over the vegetables, then sprinkle in the red chili flakes, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to evenly coat the vegetables.

Step 7

Cook for another 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently, until the vegetables are tender but not overcooked.

Step 8

Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the chopped green onions and lemon juice for a burst of freshness.

Step 9

Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

Step 10

Transfer the stir fry to a serving dish and enjoy it warm as a side dish or with rice, noodles, or your choice of protein!
