Ingredients

  • 1 medium head Green cabbage
  • 2 large Carrots
  • 2 medium Celery stalks
  • 1 large Yellow onion
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 6 cups Vegetable broth
  • 1 14.5-ounce can Canned diced tomatoes
  • 0.5 cup White rice
  • 0.25 cup, chopped Fresh dill
  • 1 piece Bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Start by preparing the vegetables. Core and roughly chop the cabbage. Peel and dice the carrots. Slice the celery. Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic.

Step 2

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Sauté the onions and garlic for 2-3 minutes until softened and fragrant.
