Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Ground turkey
  • 0.5 cups Rolled oats
  • 0.25 cups Milk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 medium Yellow onion, finely diced
  • 1 medium Carrot, grated
  • 2 pieces Garlic cloves, minced
  • 0.25 cups Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 0.5 cups Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Apple cider vinegar

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a small bowl, combine the rolled oats and milk. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes to soften.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, soaked oats, eggs, diced onion, grated carrot, minced garlic, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently with your hands until just combined. Do not overmix, as this can make the meatloaf dense.

Step 4

Transfer the turkey mixture into the loaf pan and press down gently to evenly shape the meatloaf.

Step 5

In a separate small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar to make the glaze.

Step 6

Spread half of the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.

Step 7

Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes. Remove it from the oven, spread the remaining glaze on top, and return it to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the meatloaf reaches 165°F (74°C).

Step 8

Let the meatloaf rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
