Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 slices sliced tomatoes
  • 4 slices sliced onions
  • 4 cheese slices
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 2

In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and black pepper until well combined. Shape the mixture into 4 equal patties, about 3/4 inch thick.

Step 3

Place the patties on the preheated grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and place a slice of cheese on top of each patty. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese melts and the patties are cooked to your desired level of doneness.
