  • 8 cups Water

Directions

Step 1

Bring 8 cups of water with 1 teaspoon of salt to a boil in a large pot.

Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 10-12 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water. Set aside.
