  • 1 whole Zest of a lemon
  • 1 whole Egg (for egg wash)
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame seeds (optional, for topping)

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine warm water, honey, and yeast. Stir gently and let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Make a well in the center.

Add the yeast mixture, olive oil, chopped Kalamata olives, rosemary, oregano, and lemon zest to the well. Mix with a wooden spoon or your hands until a shaggy dough forms.
