Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Ground turkey
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 medium Yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 0.333 cup Ketchup
  • 0.25 cup Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 cup Tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a standard loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easier removal.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, eggs, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, ketchup, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix gently using your hands or a spoon, being careful not to overwork the mixture.

Step 3

Transfer the turkey mixture into the prepared loaf pan, pressing it down gently to form an even loaf. Smooth the top with the back of a spoon.

Step 4

In a small bowl, whisk together the tomato sauce, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard to create the glaze. Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.

Step 5

Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Step 6

Once cooked, remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute and makes it easier to slice.

Step 7

Carefully remove the meatloaf from the pan and slice into even portions. Serve warm with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.
