Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Slice the French baguette into 1/2-inch thick diagonal slices. Arrange them on a baking sheet.
Brush both sides of the bread slices with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and bake for 5-7 minutes, until lightly golden and crispy.
