Ingredients

  • 1 loaf baguette
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes
  • 1 head garlic
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 8 leaves fresh basil leaves

  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices and arrange them on a baking sheet.

Cut the top off the head of garlic to expose the cloves, drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and wrap it tightly in foil. Place on a separate baking sheet.

Spread the cherry tomatoes on the same sheet as the garlic. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and toss to coat.
