Directions

Step 1

Rinse the brown rice under cold water. In a medium saucepan, combine the rice and 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, cover, and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 35-40 minutes until tender. Remove from heat and let it rest, covered, for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork before using.
