Ingredients

  • 4 pieces (6 ounces each) salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon whole-grain mustard
  • 2 tablespoons (chopped) fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 clove (minced) garlic
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt (plain, unsweetened)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the broiler in your oven and position an oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source.

Step 2

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly brush it with olive oil to prevent sticking.

Step 3

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Rub each fillet with 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil, then season both sides evenly with salt and pepper.

Step 4

Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 5

In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, whole-grain mustard, chopped fresh dill, lemon juice, honey, minced garlic, and yogurt until well combined. Set the mustard dill sauce aside.

Step 6

Broil the salmon in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the fillets are cooked through and flake easily with a fork. The cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets.

Step 7

While the salmon cooks, taste the mustard dill sauce and adjust seasoning if necessary by adding a pinch of salt, a dash of lemon juice, or more dill.

Step 8

Remove the salmon from the oven and transfer to serving plates.

Step 9

Spoon the mustard dill sauce generously over the salmon fillets or serve it on the side as a dipping sauce.

Step 10

Garnish with additional fresh dill if desired and serve immediately with your favorite side dishes, such as steamed vegetables or roasted potatoes.
