Preheat your broiler to high and position the rack about 6 inches from the heat source. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly grease it.
Pat the fish steaks dry with a paper towel and brush them with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Season both sides with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Set them aside.
In a medium skillet over medium heat, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the diced tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until they are soft and slightly broken down.
Stir in the tomato paste, honey, red wine vinegar, and the remaining 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Reduce the heat to low and simmer the mixture for about 3 minutes until it thickens slightly.
Remove the tomato glaze from heat and let it cool slightly.
Arrange the fish steaks on the prepared baking sheet and spoon the tomato glaze evenly over the top of each piece.
Broil the fish steaks for 8-12 minutes, depending on their thickness, until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Remove the fish from the oven and transfer to a serving platter. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley for garnish.
Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of citrus flavor.
