Ingredients

  • 1 pound broccoli
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 pieces garlic cloves
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 piece lemon
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons parsley (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Wash and cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets. If desired, peel and slice the stems as well.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the broccoli florets and cook for 2-3 minutes, until bright green and slightly tender. Drain and immediately plunge into ice water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.

Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves.
