Ingredients

  • 500 grams broccoli
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 pieces garlic cloves
  • 1 piece red chilli (fresh)
  • 1 piece lime
  • 0.5 teaspoons sea salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoons chilli flakes
  • 250 milliliters water

Directions

Step 1

Wash the broccoli thoroughly and cut it into bite-sized florets. Peel the stem, if using, and chop it into thin slices.

Step 2

Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves. Slice the red chilli thinly, removing the seeds if you prefer less heat.

Step 3

In a large skillet or frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and sliced red chilli to the pan. Sauté gently for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, taking care not to burn the garlic.
