  • 1.5 cups Broccoli florets

  • 2 tablespoons Chopped fresh parsley
  • 0.25 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Slivered almonds (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a small pot of water to a boil. Add the broccoli florets and blanch for 2-3 minutes until they turn bright green and slightly tender. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.
