Ingredients

  • 1 package (or homemade equivalent) Pie crust dough
  • 6 slices Bacon
  • 1 cup Broccoli florets
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 small amount (for greasing) Butter or nonstick spray

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Lightly grease a muffin tin with butter or nonstick spray.

Step 3

Roll out the pie crust dough on a lightly floured surface. Cut out circles slightly larger than the muffin tin cavities and press them gently into the tins. Trim excess edges if necessary.

Step 4

Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the pan and transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain. Once cool, crumble the bacon into small pieces.

Step 5

Lightly steam the broccoli florets for about 2-3 minutes, until just tender. Allow to cool slightly, then chop into small pieces.

Step 6

In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream until smooth. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, chopped broccoli, salt, and black pepper.

Step 7

Divide the egg mixture evenly among the prepared muffin tin cups lined with pie crust.

Step 8

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the quiches are puffed and slightly golden on top.

Step 9

Remove from the oven and allow the quiches to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before carefully removing them.

Step 10

Serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy your Broccoli Bacon Quiches!
