Ingredients

  • 2 cups Broccoli florets
  • 2 cups Cauliflower florets
  • 1 cup Slivered almonds
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Butter

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the broccoli and cauliflower florets and blanch them for 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Step 3

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the slivered almonds and toast for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.
