Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 rolls) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 1-inch cubes Brie cheese
  • 4 teaspoons jam (optional, such as raspberry or fig)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon water

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 individual triangles.

Step 3

Place one cube of Brie cheese at the wider end of each triangle. If using jam, add about 1/2 teaspoon of jam on top of the Brie.

Step 4

Roll up each triangle, starting from the wide end and tucking the cheese and jam inside, sealing the edges lightly to prevent leaks.

Step 5

Place the rolled crescents seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Step 6

In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water to create an egg wash.

Step 7

Brush the egg wash lightly over the tops of the crescents to give them a golden finish when baked.

Step 8

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the crescents are golden brown and puffed.

Step 9

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!
